Here’s a photo of the latest Metalware Hi-Rise shelving installation taking place at a electronic component distributer in New England. This installation consists of 400 sections of Metalware Shelving, 24″ x 48″ x 20′-8″ tall with 14 shelves per section, arranged in 5 double rows 40 long. Here you can see the installer has positioned the first sections of each row in their proper location and will build out each row in succession.

Standard line and corner posts are made of 2”x2”x16GA square seam welded tubing, welded to a 6”x6”x1/4” base plate for perfect support and rigidity. Floor-to-ceiling partitions that surpass 24’ are mounted on 3”x3”x10GA posts and welded to 8”x8”x1/4” base plates to ensure sufficient reinforcement.

Rol-Lift® Hand Pallet Trucks from Presto Lifts Inc. are available in a variety of sizes, configurations, and capacities for virtually any use. Economy models designed for occasional use have 4,500 lb. capacity and 48″ forks. For more frequent use, Standard and Heavy Duty models have 5,000 lb. and 5,500 lb. capacities and are available in 20.5″ or 27″ wide configurations with fork lengths as short as 32″ and as long as 72″. PNEUMATIC LOAD LEVELER AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTS PALLET HEIGHT AS BOXES ARE ADDED OR REMOVED

The P3™ Pneumatic Leveler from Presto Lifts Inc. allows operators to build or break down pallet loads with a minimum of bending, reaching, stretching, or walking around. The unit automatically adjusts the height of pallets as boxes are added or removed. Height adjustment is achieved by a heavy-duty reinforced rubber airbag combined with a permanent spring.

Because the P3 is pneumatic it can handle a widely varying pallet load weights (from 400-4,500 pounds). It can be used anywhere that shop air is available.

A large turntable equipped with anti-friction bearings allows loads to be quickly and effortlessly rotated so that operators can always be working on the nearside of the pallet.

The extra-wide base means no lagging is necessary, and fork pockets allow the unit to be easily relocated by a fork truck or stacker.

The Lift Stik™ from Presto Lifts may be the most versatile lifter transporter ever built. Its innovative compact design distributes the load evenly over four oversized casters that roll easily over thresholds and uneven floors.

Lift is achieved by a powered, continuous chain in the Lift Stik’s™ single mast. The narrow mast design provides unmatched visibility. A hand-held push-button remote allows the operator to lift or lower the platform from any side of the unit and at dual speeds for safe, efficient control. With lift heights of 62”, 101”, 125” and a full 2,200 lbs. capacity, the new Power Stak™ line is loaded with ergonomic features. Narrow mast design and offset control handle, provide operators with a clear view of what’s in front of them with virtually no blind spots. An ergonomically designed handle puts all controls within easy read for maximum operator comfort and convenience. Forward and reverse drive “thumb” switches are located on both sides of the handle to accommodate left or right hand operation.
