Cogan Sheet Metal Partitions offer the same trusted protection as their wire mesh enclosures with the added benefit of complete privacy. Made from heavy duty corrugated steel panels framed in 1.25″ x 1.25″ x 12 GA structural angle, sheet metal partitions are an excellent way to divide and secure large areas in you facility.
Sheet metal partitions are available in three different systems depending on your storage needs – freestanding, freestanding with roof and floor to ceiling. Freestanding partitions under 24′ high are mounted is 2″ x 2″ posts and welded to a 6″ x 6″ x .25″ baseplates. Floor to ceiling partitions that exceed 24′ high are mounted on a 3″ x 3″ posts and welded to 8″ x 8″ x .25″ baseplates for extra reinforcement. It is possible to combine both sheet metal and wire mesh partition systems to create a completely custom configuration. This is ideal in situations where a fully enclosed partition is required, but can’t interfere with existing lighting, sprinkler or ventilation systems. Cogan Safegarde sheet metal partitions are sealed in a gray powder coat paint finish for maximum wear resistance. Available in a variety of standard and custom sizes.

Here are a few pictures of the latest Cogan Wire Partition Jobsite in Metrowest Boston. Phase one of the job will be the installation of Cogan Wire Partition cages in both of these locations. Phase two will be adding a Cogan Mezzanine within the footprint of the future cage in the first picture. This Cogan Mezzanine will be used for product storage. The end user will be able to double his floor space in that area with the addition of the mezzanine.

Every mezzanine project encounters different conditions and requirements, that’s why Cogan offers various engineering solutions to meet your specific needs. As our standard, each Cogan mezzanine comes with a basic plans package that will support you up to a certain stage during the different phases of your project.

Depending on the complexity of your project and requirements, Cogan recommends that most clients and/or end users work in association with an architect for additional support. This is to ensure that any critical aspects such as building classification and occupancy, electricity, plumbing, fire codes, exit signage etc. will be properly analyzed and addressed. Please keep in mind that Cogan is not responsible for certifying or analyzing the concrete slab capacity and integrity where the mezzanine columns are to be installed.

 This system offers a fully-suspended unit featuring a spacious 6′, 7′ or 8’W x 4’H x 3’D interior. All side floor and transom panels are made of unframed 2″ x 2″ x 6 and 8 GA electro-galvanized welded wire mesh. This innovative design allows for any necessary trimming around water pipes, wall irregularities and other obstructions to be done on-site, eliminating costly installation charges. Slide frames are made of 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 16GA square tubing and come pre-welded with adjustable ceiling plates for easy adaptability on uneven surfaces. All upper and lower tracks, as well as doors are sealed with a silver powder coated paint finish. All hanging locker systems are equipped with 2 sliding doors. Padlock hasps and door stoppers come standard with all systems.
