Prsto Lifts P3 All Around Video
Presto Lifts P3 All Around load levelers automatically adjust the height of palletized loads as boxes are added and removed. This keeps loads at a comfortable height and eliminates bending, reaching and stretching. A turntable ring allows workers to spin the load so they are always working on the near side of the pallet.

Presto Lifts Stacker Basics, Understanding Load Center
The weight of the load bing transported is only one of the factors used to determine the required capacity of a stacker for a given application. An equally important factor is load center. Load center is the distance from the back of the forks to the center of an evenly distributed load. Presto stackers are available with load centers of 15″, 18″, 20″ and 24″. When selecting a stacker for your application make sure to consider the type and size of load you’ll be lifting and transporting.
Presto Lifts Stacker Basics, Fixed Straddle, Adjustable Straddle and Fork Over
Stackers with base legs are available in 3 configurations from Presto Lifts. Fixed Straddle, Adjustable Straddle and Fork Over.
Fixed Straddle legs come in a predetermined width. When selecting a stacker with fixed straddle legs make sure that the inside dimension of the straddle legs is greater than the width of your largest pallets.
Adjustable Straddle legs can have a wider or narrower inside dimension depending on the needs of the application. The range of adjustability is typically 10″-16″.
Both fixed and adjustable straddle stacker can be used with any type of pallet or skid – including pallets with closed bottoms.
Fork Over stackers have legs that sit directly under the forks. They can only be used with open bottom pallets or skids.

Presto Lifts P-3 All Around Pallet Positioner, an Ergonomic Solution to Loading and Unloading Pallets
The Second in a series of Ergonomic Solutions from Prime Alliance Marketing featuring Presto Lifts.
The effects of manual material handling represent the biggest single contributor to worker injury in the United States and the application of good ergonomic programs can reduce those incidences.
Choosing and operating the proper piece of equipment for the job at hand is one key to reducing injuries in the works place.
Unnecessary and improper worker activities result in bad ergonomics, which can lead to injury. Lifting, Stretching, Reaching, Bending, Stooping and Walking are the motions that need to be addressed in workplace activities.
In the second of a series highlighting Presto Lifts solutions to common ergonomic problems is a gallery dealing with pallet loading and unloading.
Pallet loading and unloading has always been an ergonomic problem in many manufacturing and distribution environments. As with Basket Loading and Unloading , all six motions that create bad ergonomics come into play when loading and unloading pallets improperly. Setting a pallet on the ground and working from there, is a problem just waiting to happen. Presto Lifts P3 All Around Automatic Pallet Positioner has been designed specifically to make the job of loading and unloading pallets easier and safer for your work force. Load heights that adjust automatically as items are added or removed along with the turntable top promote the good ergonomics that all work forces need and deserve.
Look What I Found
While I was unloading Cogan’s booth for yesterdays Warner Specialty Products Show in the Aqua Turf’s garage, (great design boys). I found this ancient Presto Lifts Manual Stacker. The head guy there said they use it all the time. Years and years of reliable service with no end in site. If it wouldn’t have taken so long to clean the years of hard use off of it, I would have wheeled it out into Presto’s booth to show it off. What a find!
Prime Alliance Marketing always looks forward to doing joint, end user calls with our New England dealers. These calls bring us into a very diverse range of facilities. Everything from huge manufacturing plants to commercial retail space with every variation in between. There’s rarely a time I go in on one of these joint calls and don’t run across at least one piece of Presto equipment. Much of it older than me, (not really), and still going strong.
