Cogan’s Rack Pal product has been chosen to protect the pallet rack in a new distribution center in CT. The building is over 1 million square feet in size. This job was designed and sold by Ford & Ulrich. I’ll have more pictures once the installation is complete.
Here’s photos of the latest Cogan Mezzanine being installed in New England. The Mezzanine is being installed at an auto dealer in Rhode Island. The Mezzanine will be used in the parts department and features a swing gate to allow for pallets of parts to be dropped directly onto the mezzanine. This job was sold and designed by Storage Solutions who did a fantastic job on this Mezzanine.

The new P3™ All-Around level loader from Presto Lifts is economical as well as ergonomic. Though it requires no electrical power and little maintenance, it virtually eliminates the productivity-robbing, injury-producing bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching common to pallet-loading applications. The pneumatic airbag of the P3 All-Around automatically lowers or raises a pallet as boxes are added or removed, maintaining the top layer at a convenient height. And the turntable ring (or optional solid turntable platform) at the top of the unit allows the user to spin the load so he or she can stand in the same spot throughout the loading or unloading process. The stable base of the P3 All-Around is smaller than most competing equipment. This allows the user to step even closer to the unit’s platform, further improving the ergonomic benefits of the P3. Fork pockets at the base allow for easy relocation. The P3 All-Around can accommodate loads from 400 to 4,500 lbs., depending on which of five spring packages is chosen by the customer (based on the anticipated weight and height of a fully loaded pallet). If needs change, the unit can be adapted easily in the field by changing its spring combination.

Here is a few shots of the latest Cogan Mezzanines project being installed at a large grocery supply companies new vehicle maintenance building in Connecticut. Warner Specialty Products was the dealer on this job. The mezzanine includes “U” shaped stairways at both ends, a bar grating deck, a Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC) by others, and a high capacity walkway down the center of the deck. The mezzanine will be used to store vehicle parts to feed the repair and maintenance work for the shop. Shelving will be installed on the mezzanine’s deck to provide the storage space. The VRC will be used to move product between the storage levels. The high capacity walkway is where the heavy, concentrated loads on pallets will be brought by pallet jack to the appropriate shelving aisle for storage.

Here are some pictures from the latest Cogan Wire Partition job to be installed in New England. The dealer, United Industrial Service, Inc., did a first class job with this project. The two Cogan Partition cages will be used for parts storage at a manufacturing facility outside of Boston. The cage with the service window and man door was designed and installed with the anticipation, when budgets allow, of adding a Cogan Mezzanine inside it, which will effectively double the storage space within the same footprint.
