Berner Door Heater

Heating loss has always been a problem when shipping and receiving doors are frequently opened and closed. The infiltration of cold air makes it difficult to maintain a comfortable working environment.

Berner Direct Gas Fired Door Heater’s are the economical solution to this problem. A duct axial fan directs a high velocity stream of heated air towards the door opening. The hot air mixes with the incoming cold air providing a warm comfortable environment.

The door heater is activated through a limit switch. When the door is opened there is a brief pre-purge and safety function check. The fan starts, directing a high velocity stream of hot air that heats the incoming cold air.

Engineered for versatility the door heater can be mounted at any angle between horizontal and vertical to satisfy most applications. All heaters are factory assembled and shipped ready for connection to electric power and natural gas supplies.

Phase 1 of a multi-phase Metalware Hi-Rise Shelving job to get the end users inventory of electronic components off of pallets and into a storage system that makes the picking process efficient and cost effective. The Metalware Shelving was engineered at 20′-8″ high with 13 storage openings. Man aboard High Rise picking trucks are used in the operation.

The end user has now filled two entire buildings with the same 20′-8″ high Metalware Hi-Rise Shelving. Close to tripling the amount of shelving in Phase 1.

Aqua Turf Presto LiftWhile I was unloading Cogan’s booth for yesterdays Warner Specialty Products Show in the Aqua Turf’s garage, (great design boys). I found this ancient Presto Lifts Manual Stacker. The head guy there said they use it all the time. Years and years of reliable service with no end in site.  If it wouldn’t have taken so long to clean the years of hard use off of it, I would have wheeled it out into Presto’s booth to show it off. What a find!

Prime Alliance Marketing always looks forward to doing joint, end user calls with our New England dealers. These calls bring us into a very diverse range of facilities. Everything from huge manufacturing plants to commercial retail space with every variation in between. There’s rarely a time I go in on one of these joint calls and don’t run across at least one piece of Presto equipment. Much of it older than me, (not really), and still going strong.
